In line with Bahrain’s Greening Initiative, the government of Bahrain has planned to introduce new sustainable landscaping guidelines.
Following a 6-months desktop study, an extensive data gathering effort, various workshops with stakeholders, and ground research, SLA submitted the “Guidelines for City Life”.
The Guidelines provide the tools needed for technicians, planners and designers in the the development of Urban Spaces and Landscapes.
The Guidelines are driven by design principles around two key themes ‘Nature Based’ and ‘Outdoor Comfort’. They also provide many examples for implementation, simple how-to’s, and examples of what to do and what not to do.
